About

The Port Houses are a high-end residential infill development just north of Wilson Park in downtown Fayetteville. The property, formerly known as the Whitfield Estate, spans an entire city block with 100-year-old oak trees and the original historic home.

  • The Port Houses

The redevelopment includes seven estate homes and six cottages. The estates are situated on ½ acre size lots creating spacial living with the downtown accessibility. These homes are 4,000-5,000 square feet with options to include attached ADUs, pools, gardens, and sport courts. The Cottages located on the western side of the property are designed as a cottage court with shared outdoor living areas. These homes 2000-2500 square feet are designed with different flex space options like studios, home gyms, and offices on the ground floors.

The Port Houses’ architectural design is rooted in historic seaboard and harborside towns, emphasizing natural light, extended sight lines, and seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor living.

The Port Houses represent a rare infill opportunity not limited by the typical design constraints of smaller lots. This community delivers a truly walkable lifestyle without sacrificing privacy, generous yard space, home office integration, or resident parking limitations. The homes are designed with room for amenities like bike storage, outdoor saunas, and adaptable ADUs.
